Jan Haft

Jan Haft (born 1967) is a biologist, wildlife filmmaker and photographer. He has received numerous awards, and his films have been shown in cinemas and on television. In 2019, he published the book »Die Wiese. Lockruf in eine geheimnisvolle Welt«, released alongside his feature film »Die Wiese – ein Paradies nebenan«. It was followed by »Heimat Natur« (2021; published in paperback in 2023 as »Natur nebenan«), the illustrated nonfiction book for children »Meine Wiese« (2024), and the essay »Wildnis« (2023), in which he outlines a new understanding of wild nature.
