Jan Graf Potocki

Jan Count Potocki (1761–1815) was a Polish nobleman, officer, historian, writer, and traveler. He was known for his broad range of interests, which encompassed literature, history, and research. In 1815, Potocki took his own life with a silver bullet he had filed himself.
