Jan de Zanger (1932–1991) was a Dutch writer and translator. From 1977 to 1989, he worked for the curriculum development foundation in Enschede. He subsequently worked as a freelance writer. In addition to writing books, he translated works, mainly from Danish. His books and translations received numerous awards.
