Born in 1972, Jan Costin Wagner has worked as an author and musician. He is best known for his novels featuring the Finnish detective Kimmo Joentaa, which have been translated into 14 languages. His work has received several awards, including the German Crime Fiction Prize, and he was nominated for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. His novel “Das Schweigen” was adapted for film. Wagner has also released songwriter music, including the album “violet tree”.
