Born in 1990, Jan Bratenstein is a musician and author. His musical work included the solo anti-folk project The Black Elephant Band and the songwriter collective Folk’s Worst Nightmare. He also worked as a writer of comics and scripts for web series. His debut novel, Der Mann ohne Piano, was published by Carpathia Verlag in 2018.
