James Swallow came to writing through journalism. He is the author of more than fifty books and was nominated for a BAFTA for his screenwriting. His work includes science-fiction novels, short stories, audio dramas and video games. Swallow created the action-thriller series featuring British agent Marc Dane and has written for franchises including 24 and Star Trek, as well as for several video games.
