James March

James March was a professor at Stanford University, where he began working in 1970 and later became professor emeritus. His research focused particularly on risk-taking, decision-making, learning, and leadership in organizations, including businesses, government administrations, and educational institutions. In the German-speaking world, he became known for the book “Organisation und Individuum. Menschliches Verhalten in Organisationen” (1976).
