James Barclay

James Barclay was born in Suffolk in 1965. He studied communications and later attended a drama school in London, but decided against pursuing a career on the stage. He began writing his own stories at the age of thirteen. He is best known for the fantasy series The Chronicles of the Raven, whose success established him as a writer.
