Jacob Mikanowski

Jacob Mikanowski, born in the United States in 1982, is a historian, critic, and writer. His work has appeared in publications including The New Yorker, The Guardian, and The New York Times. His father was Polish Jewish, while his mother came from a Hungarian aristocratic family. Both were unable to return to their respective homelands because of martial law imposed in Poland.
