Jack Hawley, Ph.D., studied applied psychology, sociology, and anthropology. Before pursuing his writing, he worked for ten years in the high-tech and service industries. A journey to India led to a lasting engagement with Eastern wisdom, and he studied there with the spiritual teacher Sai Baba. Hawley taught at several universities in the United States and at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning in India.
