J. Ryan Stradal

J. Ryan Stradal, born in 1975, grew up in Hastings, Minnesota, and studied film, television, and radio at Northwestern University. He worked as an editor and producer of television series. His novels *Kitchens of the Great Midwest* and *The Lager Queen of Minnesota* became *New York Times* bestsellers.
