Irmgard Kramer

Irmgard Kramer, born in Vorarlberg in 1969, initially worked as a primary school teacher. She began writing professionally in 2004 and left teaching in 2011. Her first children’s novel, “Sunny Valentine,” was published in 2014. She went on to publish more than 20 books for children, young people and adults, as well as texts for magazines. Some of her books received awards including the Austrian Children’s and Young Adult Book Prize and the LeserStimmen Prize, and were translated into more than ten languages.
