Irene Margil

Irene Margil (born 1962) is a communications designer, trained photographer and author. She worked for several years in the SAT.1 sports department “ran” and became a freelance author in 2008. Her first book, *Fußball und sonst gar nichts!*, was published by Carlsen in 2008; it was followed by numerous other books, including many children’s books about football and sport. Margil is a trained running therapist and Nordic walking instructor. She has also developed concepts and training programs for reading aloud and presentations.
