Ingrid Uebe

Ingrid Uebe was born in Essen, Germany, and initially worked as a culture editor at the Neue Ruhr Zeitung (NRZ) in Essen. She later worked as a press officer and freelance journalist for various newspapers, magazines, and broadcasting organizations. In 1977, she published her first children’s book and went on to write children’s and young adult books. She published more than one hundred titles, many of which were translated into numerous languages and received several awards.
