Ingrid Robeyns

Ingrid Robeyns, born in 1972 in Leuven, Belgium, is a Belgian philosopher and economist. She studied economics and philosophy and earned her doctorate at the University of Cambridge under the supervision of Amartya Sen. Her academic positions include a professorship in ethics at Utrecht University. Robeyns is credited with founding limitarianism, a concept concerned with placing limits on wealth. In 2022, she received a Vici grant from the Dutch Research Council (NWO) for her research.
