Ingrid Noll

Ingrid Noll (born in 1935 in Shanghai) studied German and art history in Bonn. After raising her family, she began writing crime fiction at around the age of 55. Her first novel, The Rooster Is Dead, was published in 1991, followed by several crime novels and collections of stories. In 2005, Noll received the Friedrich Glauser Honorary Award for her complete works. She is the mother of three children and a grandmother of four.
