Ingke Brodersen is a historian who worked for many years as an editor and publisher of political books at Rowohlt Verlag. From 1990, she headed the Rowohlt Berlin publishing house. For the Goethe-Institut, she edited a multilingual European magazine and conducted democracy and communication training at schools in Berlin. Together with Rüdiger Dammann, she wrote the texts for the Jewish Museum Berlin exhibition catalogue Two Millennia of German-Jewish History (2001). Their joint book Zerrissene Herzen. Die Geschichte der Juden in Deutschland was published in 2006.
