Inge Brendler

Inge Brendler is a children’s author. She studied classical oboe and historical performance practice at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig. She subsequently played in various orchestras for many years and worked as a freelance musician and music teacher in Germany and abroad. She later turned to writing children’s books. Her book “Von Viren und Menschen” originated as an attempt to explain viruses to her own children.
