Ingar Johnsrud

Ingar Johnsrud (born 1974) is a Norwegian thriller author. He studied film and media studies and worked for fifteen years as a journalist at a major Norwegian media company. His debut thriller, Der Hirte, was published in 2017, nominated for the Maurits Hansen Prisen for best crime debut, and achieved international success. It was followed by Der Bote (2018) and Der Verräter (2019). Echokammer marked the beginning of a new thriller trilogy and received the Norwegian crime-fiction award Sølvkniven.
