Ilka Piepgras

Ilka Piepgras (born 1964) studied political science in Munich. She began her career in journalism in 1991 as a reporter for the Berliner Zeitung. After a year of study at Harvard University, she joined the Financial Times Deutschland in 1999, where she edited the book pages, including those of its weekend supplement. Piepgras has published, among other works, the book *Meine Freundin, die Nonne* and worked as an editor for ZEITmagazin.
