Ibrahima Balde was born in 1994 in Conakry, Guinea. In 2018, he met the Basque bertsolari singer Amets Arzallus and entrusted him with his life story. Their collaboration resulted in the book *Kleiner Bruder*, written with Balde’s voice and Arzallus’s hands.
