Hugh Amano

Hugh Amano grew up in Colorado and trained as a chef at the New England Culinary Institute. He later worked at Fat Rice in Chicago, a restaurant known for its Chinese-Macanese cuisine. He ate his first gyoza as a toddler, when his mother prepared them for a Japanese-themed evening.
