Horst Lichter

Horst Lichter is a German chef, television presenter and entertainer. In 1990, he opened the “Oldiethek,” initially as a club featuring his collection of vintage cars, motorcycles, antiques and bric-a-brac; in 1995, it became a restaurant. From 1999 onward, he worked in television and became widely known through cooking programmes such as “Lafer!Lichter!Lecker!” and “Die Küchenschlacht.” He later presented the ZDF programme “Bares für Rares,” among others. Lichter also performed on stage from 2004, including with the solo programmes “Lichters Traum” and “Lichters Geschichten.” He has published several successful books, including “Keine Zeit für Arschlöcher,” which was adapted for ZDF in 2022.
