Hiro Mashima

Hiro Mashima (born 1977) is a Japanese manga artist. He made his debut in 1998, winning the 60th Weekly Shonen Magazine Newcomer Award for MAGICIAN. The following year, he began his first long-running series, RAVE, which concluded in 2005. In 2006, he launched FAIRY TAIL, an internationally successful series that was published weekly until 2017 and received numerous awards in Japan and Europe. In 2018, he began EDENS ZERO.
