Hilke Maunder

Hilke Maunder, born in 1961, is a German journalist, editor and photographer. From the mid-1990s onward, she worked as a France correspondent and reported on France and Australia for book publishers and media including Spiegel Online, Die Welt, Die Welt am Sonntag and Handelsblatt. She also became known for her travel and food blog, “Mein Frankreich.” Her first trip to France was in 1975, when she travelled there by Interrail. In 2014, France awarded her the Médaille du Tourisme for her reporting.
