Herwig Grimm

Herwig Grimm (born 1978) is a philosopher and ethicist. He studied philosophy in Salzburg, Zurich and Munich, specializing in ethics and applied ethics. From 2004 to 2011, he was a research associate at the Institute for Technology, Theology and the Natural Sciences at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. In 2011, he became a professor at the Messerli Research Institute of the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, the Medical University of Vienna and the University of Vienna. His research focuses on the ethics of human-animal relationships, methodological questions in applied ethics and pragmatism.
