Hera Lind

Hera Lind, born in Bielefeld in 1957, studied German, music and theology. She first worked as a classical singer and later became known as an author and television presenter. Her first novel, *Ein Mann für jede Tonart*, was published in 1989 and became a bestseller. Her successful novels include *Das Superweib*, *Der gemietete Mann* and *Himmel und Hölle*. *Das Superweib* sold more than two million copies. Lind later became particularly known for factual novels based on authentic stories.
