Henri Maximilian Jakobs was born and raised in Munich. He studied electric bass at the Richard Strauss Conservatory and music journalism at the University of Music and Performing Arts. As a musician, he was a member of bands including TUBBE, The Toten Crackhuren im Kofferraum and FINNA. With TUBBE, he released two albums and toured Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France; his solo EP “Bizeps Bizeps” was released in 2021. Jakobs has also worked as an actor, voice actor and author. At Berlin’s Schaubühne, he appeared in “Das Leben des Vernon Subutex,” directed by Thomas Ostermeier. In the Netflix series “Ridley Jones,” he voiced the character Dante. From 2018 to 2019, the podcast “Transformer” documented his transition.
