Helle Helle (born 1965) is a Danish writer. She made her literary debut in 1993 with the story collection »Eksempel på liv« (»Examples of Life«). Her notable novels include »The Idea of an Uncomplicated Life with a Man«, »Rødby–Puttgarden«, and »Färseninsel«. Her work has received, among other distinctions, the Danish Critics’ Prize, the Per Olov Enquist Prize, the Grand Prize of the Danish Academy, and the Holberg Medal.
