Helga Begonja

Helga Begonja is a Croatian Germanist and linguist. She studied German and English at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zadar and completed doctoral studies in linguistics at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. From 2007 onward, she was affiliated with the Department of German Studies at the University of Zadar. Her research focuses on translation studies, German linguistics, and rhetoric. Between 2003 and 2006, she attended the Goethe-Institut Zagreb’s advanced distance-learning course and earned a university certificate in teaching German as a foreign language from the Goethe-Institut and the University of Kassel.
