Heinrich Biermann

Heinrich Biermann first encountered algebra and geometry at a vocational school in the 1950s. He later worked in the costing and cost-accounting department of an industrial company, where he collaborated closely with its electronic data-processing department. In the mid-1980s, he began using programmable calculators and the QuickBASIC programming language to address mathematical, particularly geometric, problems. His book on computer-assisted geometry developed from a presentation and contains around 168 programs illustrating the step-by-step creation of geometric constructions.
