Heinke Both (born 1964 in Bad Oldesloe) is a German artist. From 1983, she received instruction from Heilwig Duwe-Ploog and, from 1985, studied at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences for Design, among others with Friedrich Einhoff, Almut Heise and Gero Flurschütz. After her studies, she exhibited her work and received grants and awards. In 2015, she was awarded the Heise Art Prize; she also received a grant from the Stormarn Cultural Foundation of the Sparkasse Holstein. Her work has used media including collage, painting, drawing, photography and printmaking, exploring perception, conditioning and the question of human identity.
