Heiner Feldhoff

Heiner Feldhoff, born in 1945, grew up in Duisburg and studied German and Romance languages and literature in Münster. He worked in education until 1996. His work includes poetry, prose, translations, and biographies of figures such as Henry David Thoreau, Albert Camus, and Paul Deussen. He received the Joseph Breitbach Prize of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in 1996 and the Korean Translator’s Prize in 2011. His publications include »Westerwälder Köpfe« (2014, with Carl Gneist), »Becketts Hose« (2015), »Die Sonntage von Duisburg-Beeck. Eine Jugend« (2018), and the anthology »Lesebuch Heiner Feldhoff« (2022).
