Heiko Meyer

Heiko Meyer is a German author with many years of experience in cycle touring and long-distance hiking. He took his first bicycle tour in 1975, at the age of 16, when bicycles still had only a single gear. In the years that followed, numerous cycling journeys took him across Europe. He later also took up long-distance hiking as a particularly intensive way of experiencing nature, foreign countries, and different cultures.
