Heike Klapdor, Dr. phil., researched and wrote on women, exile and film from 1983 onward. On behalf of the Deutsche Kinemathek and the German Research Foundation (DFG), she researched historically significant film-related estates. In 2016, she received the Reinhold Schünzel Prize for her contributions to Germany’s film heritage.
