Hauke Ritz

Hauke Ritz studied at Freie Universität Berlin and Humboldt University of Berlin. After earning a doctorate in philosophy, with a focus on the philosophy of history, he increasingly turned to questions of foreign policy and peace research, particularly the East–West conflict. From 2008 onward, he published on this subject. Ritz taught at the University of Giessen, Moscow State University, the Russian State University for the Humanities, and Belgorod University. He also worked for the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Moscow and served as co-director of the European Democracy Labs e.V.
