Harald Salfellner is an Austrian-born physician (M.D., Ph.D.) who worked as an author, editor and publisher. He published books on Bohemian-Austrian cultural history, including the monograph “Franz Kafka and Prague,” which was translated into eight languages. His publications reached a total circulation of more than one million copies. As a medical historian, he addressed the cultural history of medicine and the Spanish flu in the Bohemian and Austrian lands and in Central Europe. His relevant works include “Mit Feder und Skalpell” and “Aber Arzt bin ich geblieben.”
