Harald Fritzsch (born 1943 in Zwickau) is a German theoretical physicist. In 1980, he became a professor of theoretical physics at the University of Munich. He worked with Werner Heisenberg and conducted research at the California Institute of Technology alongside Richard P. Feynman and Murray Gell-Mann. Fritzsch authored six popular-science books about modern physics, including his most recent, *Sie irren, Einstein!*, published by Piper.
