Hanya Yanagihara

Hanya Yanagihara, born in 1974 in Los Angeles and raised partly in Hawaii, is an American writer and journalist. Her second novel, A Little Life, won the Kirkus Prize and was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize, the National Book Award, and the Baileys Prize. Her debut novel, The People in the Trees, was translated into German in 2019.
