Hanspeter Born (born 1938) is a historian with a doctorate in history. After his education in Bern, he worked as an editor at Swiss Radio, as a correspondent in the United States, and as head of the programme “Echo der Zeit.” From 1984 to 1997, he was foreign editor of the Swiss weekly “Weltwoche.” Born has written several nonfiction books, including “Mord in Kehrsatz” and “Für die Richtigkeit – Kurt Waldheim.” Together with Benoit Landais, he wrote “Die verschwundene Katze” and “Schuffenecker’s Sunflowers.”
