Hans-Werner Meyer

Hans-Werner Meyer, born in 1964 in Hamburg, is a German actor and audiobook narrator. After studying at the University of Music, Drama and Media Hanover, he worked at the Residenztheater in Munich and Berlin’s Schaubühne, collaborating with directors including Luc Bondy and Leander Haussmann. He has appeared in more than 120 film and television productions, including “The Baader Meinhof Complex.” He also became known to a broad television audience for his role as police psychologist Dr. Dominik Born in the series “Die Cleveren.” In 2007, he received the Ohrkanus audiobook award for his first audiobook, “Spider.”
