Hans-Joachim Lauth

Hans-Joachim Lauth (born 1957), Dr. phil., is a political scientist. His career includes a professorship in comparative political science at the Institute of Political Science and Sociology at Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg, associated with the Chair of Comparative Political Science and Systems Theory. His research has focused on democracy and the measurement of democracy, informal institutions, the rule of law, and comparative methods.
