Hans H Holz

Hans Heinz Holz was a professor of philosophy, first in Marburg and later in Groningen, the Netherlands. He taught and conducted research there until his retirement. He served as honorary president of the International Society for Dialectical Philosophy. His major works include the three-volume history of dialectics in the modern period, „Einheit und Widerspruch“ (1997/98), the three-volume „Philosophische Theorie der bildenden Künste“ (1996/97), and „Die große Räuberhöhle. Religion und Klassenkämpfe im christlichen Mittelalter“ (1999).
