Hannes Wader

Hannes Wader (born 1942 in Bethel near Bielefeld) is a German singer-songwriter, composer, lyricist, singer, and guitarist. After training as a decorator and abandoning graphic design studies in Bielefeld and Berlin, he devoted himself to music. His notable releases include “Hannes Wader singt” (1969), “7 Lieder” (1972), “Plattdeutsche Lieder” (1974), “Es ist an der Zeit” (1980), and “Macht’s gut” (2018). He released 35 studio and live albums. In 2013, he received the Echo award for lifetime achievement.
