Hannah Pick-Goslar, née Goslar, was born in Berlin in 1928 and emigrated with her family to the Netherlands in 1933. In Amsterdam, she was Anne Frank’s neighbor, schoolmate, and close friend. In 1943, her family was deported to the Westerbork transit camp and, in 1944, to Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. There, she met Anne Frank for the last time shortly before Anne’s death. She died in late October 2022.
