Hanna Jansen

Hanna Jansen, born in 1946, worked as a teacher and in teacher training, acted in theatre, and led literature workshops. She published numerous books for children and young adults, including “Herzsteine,” “Linus im Glück,” “Maxima und ich,” and “Über tausend Hügel wandere ich mit dir.” Her works were translated into several languages and received awards; two of her books were used as classroom reading. Together with her husband, she gave children from different countries a home. Her experiences with her large family informed her literary work.
