Hamza Abu Howidy was born in Gaza in 1997. He studied economics and administration at the Islamic University of Gaza and worked as a freelance author and speaker. As a member of the “We Want to Live” protest movement, he was reportedly arrested and tortured several times. In 2023, he reached Germany via Egypt and Greece.
