Halo Summer

Halo Summer studied German literature, psychoanalysis and religious studies in Frankfurt am Main. She subsequently completed an internship at Micky Maus Magazin and worked as an editor for children’s and young adult magazines. From 2011 onward, she published novels for an all-ages audience, including the fantasy series The Sumpfloch Saga. Her novel Aschenkindel – Das wahre Märchen received the Kindle Storyteller Award in 2016. By her own account, she was inspired to write at the age of fourteen after reading The Lord of the Rings.
