Gwen Millward

Gwen Millward grew up in Wales and studied illustration in Edinburgh. She worked as a picture-book illustrator and received several awards for her illustrations. She originally wanted to become a naturalist, and her interest in insects, which she also enjoyed drawing, remained a distinctive personal passion.
