Gwen Bristow

Gwen Bristow (1903–1980) was an American writer and journalist. Her first novel was published in 1929. She is best known for the Western romance novel “Kalifornische Sinfonie” (1950), which was adapted for film in 1954. Her Louisiana trilogy and the novel “Alles Gold der Erde” also achieved international success.
